Gleaves has worked for Carnival UK since 2010 and since 2017 on the Cunard management team, most recently as Vice President, International Development and Planning. While Gleaves has previously worked with North America and Australasia operations, this move will see him focus on that role and be based out of Santa Clarita, California Office. He will be responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, revenue management, customer service and customer relations for North America, Canada, Australia, Japan and through the Asia Region. Gleaves will report to Sture Myrmell, chairman of Carnival UK.

Prior to his tenure at Cunard, Gleaves held executive positions at global companies including IBM, Estée Lauder and the VT Group.
